Food that tastes as great as it looks from Jo’s Kitchen

Jo’s Kitchen provided catering for our wedding breakfast, evening buffet and BBQ. Throughout the planning Jo was a wonderful support and hugely accommodating – she offered great suggestions and ideas, catered to everyone’s specific needs.

We knew from prior clientele that the quality of the food would be without reproach—the reception meal was truly outstanding and left our family and close friends glowing with praise. The BBQ and buffet was equally wonderful. Jo’s team were outstanding throughout the day; they went ‘above and beyond’ to ensure we could relax and enjoy.

Beyond the food the most common compliment was that no-one was left with an empty glass or wanting more to eat. We really cannot recommend Jo and her team highly enough to deliver your event.

Jo went about creating the most phenomenal, ten course taster menu for an eclectic bunch of ten of us (with various dietary requests!), in secret, and then proceeded to manage the chaotic logistics of serving 10 courses, to 10 people in complete darkness, keeping glasses topped up at all times and without skidding over on the odd, stray morsel that hadn’t quite made it successfully to its intended destination!

Everyone absolutely loved the food and as well as them telling me repeatedly on the night, I've had lots of lovely messages since — even more impressed that you managed to produce all that in that wee kitchen with less than a square metre of work top! The lamb and jewelled rice were my big favourites — though the starters absolutely stole the show! Such a treat as a wheat-free type to get such crunchy starters. Stunning.
